Investment Officers: Photographers

JUNE 2011 - Investment Officers of Triple Jump, passionate about photography, portrayed their work in a remarkable new book entitled Small Loans Big Passion; Photo Stories: Microfinance from the Inside. The Dutch financial daily Het Financieele Dagblad was the first newspaper to get a preview of the book.

The first copy of the book will be presented on Wednesday 8th June 2011 to Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands on the fifth anniversary conference of Triple Jump in the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.

In its first five years, Triple Jump has become one of the leading microfinance investment managers and advisory services providers in the world. It currently has USD 300 M outstanding with over 150 MFIs, reaching half a million small entrepreneurs.

“We can only do this work in a professional way thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of our own staff’, writes the management of Triple Jump in the preface of the book.  “They are passionate about supporting these entrepreneurs to build their businesses and provide them through the MFIs with the financial services they desperately need. Some of our staff also appears to be passionate photographer. To celebrate our fifth anniversary we have created a book with a selection of their best photos. Here two passions come together: The devotion to work in the field of microfinance combined with the love for photography.”
