Microfinance Film: 'Back to the Client !'

NOVEMBER 2011 - ‘The ultimate goal of microfinance is about the client, so the heart of social performance is bringing microfinance back to the client.” This statement by Laura Foose of Social Performance Task Force is heard in the film about the Netherlands Platform for Microfinance (NPM) and its work, that has recently been released.

Laura Foose is one of the interviewed professionals that elaborate on the work of the Netherlands Platform for Microfinance and its members. The film also focuses on current issues and developments in this growing sector, including the impact of microfinance, social performance management, and client protection. Ab Engelsman, Chairman of the Board of Triple Jump and chairman of the NPM, is also extensively interviewed.
