Triple Jump Advisory Services - About Us

Triple Jump Advisory Services (TJAS) is a global capacity-building NGO that helps MFIs by providing capacity-building services and cost-sharing grants for strengthening governance, introducing and improving the use of technology (mobile banking/management information systems), developing client-focused financial products and incorporating social performance management (SPM) into operations.

TJAS was established in August 2006 with funding support from Oxfam Novib, Foundation DOEN, NOTS Foundation and Triple Jump Fund Management with a mission to increase access to high-quality financial services for the entrepreneurial poor.

Although it operates under the Triple Jump umbrella, TJAS is a separate foundation with its own Board. It has a specific mandate and MFI partner selection process, and focuses on emerging Tier 3 and Tier 4 MFIs. To date, we have served 30 microfinance institution partners that collectively serve more than two million clients, in Latin America, East Africa, West Africa and the Caucasus.
