After a seven-month internship at Planet Rating in 2002, Luca spent five years as microfinance investment officer and project manager for Latin America at Etimos s.c., Italy, while also lecturing part-time on Financial Analysis of Microfinance Institutions for the Master in Finance for Development, University of Parma, Italy.

Luca has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Bologna, Italy, and is a CFA level II candidate. He speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese and is an Italian national.
